A total of 55 Premier League stars are hoping to take a step further towards Euro 2024 glory as they reach the quarter-finals this weekend.
Of these, 24 represent England, with the Three Lions accounting for the largest share.
But the remaining eight teams all have Premier League qualifications and will become international foes as club teammates face off against each other for a spot in the last four.
Arsenal’s Kai Havertz, who scored the penalty in Germany’s 2-0 knockout win over Denmark, will face a Spanish side that includes his club teammate David Raya on Friday.
Chelsea and Spain defender Marc Cucurella will face players from his former club Brighton, with the German squad featuring Pascal Gross and Deniz Udav.
Later in the day, Liverpool duo Ibrahima Konate and Diogo Jota went head-to-head as France faced Portugal, who beat Slovenia in a dramatic penalty shootout. Advance to the quarter-finals.
England face Switzerland on Saturday, so John Stones and Kyle Walker will face Manchester City defender Manuel Akanji. Newcastle United’s Kieran Trippier and Fabian Schaal will also line up opposite.
Taking things a step further, Akanji and Schar may even find themselves facing off directly against forwards Phil Foden and Anthony Gordon, club teammates at the Etihad Stadium and St James’ Park respectively.

Euro 2024 top scorer Cody Gakpo is one of three Liverpool players in the Dutch squad looking to add to their tally against Turkey in the final quarter-final game Scored three goals.
United goalkeeper Altay Bayindil is also on the Turkish squad, but has been on the bench for the past two games after starting in the 3-0 loss to Portugal. Mert Gunok seems to be number one right now.
