Premier League, Women’s Super League, EFL, Scottish Football: Highs, Lows and European Qualifiers

BBC Sport outlines promotion and relegation issues in England and Scotland as well as European qualification for the 2023-24 season.

The top four teams will qualify for the Champions League group stage. (If England is one of the two countries with the highest UEFA scores in 2023-24, there may be an extra spot.)

The fifth-placed team in the Premier League will qualify for the Europa League group stage along with the FA Cup winner. If the FA Cup winner has qualified for the Champions League, a Europa spot will return to the league.
