When can I win the championship?

Tuesday is the earliest the championship game can be determined.

If City beat Fulham on Saturday, they will return to the top of the table before Arsenal face Manchester United on Sunday.

If Arsenal fail to win at Old Trafford, Pep Guardiola’s side may not be able to register their first league win at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

How can Manchester City win the title?

They only need to win their remaining three games for Guardiola to win a historic fourth consecutive title.
If Arsenal drops points, Manchester City can afford at least a draw.

How can Arsenal win the title?

For Arsenal to lift their first Premier League trophy in 20 years, they need Manchester City to draw at least one of their remaining three games while winning their final two games. In this case, a greater goal difference could be the difference.

How can Liverpool win the title?

After a run of wins in five games, including a 2-0 loss away to Everton and then a 2-2 draw away to West Ham United, Liverpool must win their final two games against Aston Villa and Wolves. Only then can there be hope.

Even if they do, Liverpool will have to hope Arsenal lose two games and Manchester City take just one point from three games as both sides have a greater goal difference advantage.

What if both teams have the same number of points?

If both teams have the same total points, the winner will be determined according to the following criteria:
– Goal difference
– Number of goals scored
– Total points scored by the relevant teams in head-to-head matches between title contenders
– Games with the most away goals
– Play-off matches to be played at neutral venues, the format, time and venue of which shall be determined by the Premier League Board of Directors
