Chelsea 2-0 Tottenham Hotspur, player ratings: Can we play you every week?

1. Trevor Chalobah (8.2)

Pochettino described the game as the happiest he’s been as Chelsea manager and it seemed like it pleased the majority of the electorate. In fact, it was our second highest-rated game overall, with only the 6-0 win against Everton scoring higher. Interestingly, two of the four most watched games of the season were against Tottenham. Can we play with you every week?

It was fitting indeed that the man of the match award went to a Cobham graduate.

Chalobah has been in fine form since joining the team a few weeks ago and he chose the perfect moment to score his first goal of the season.

2. Mark Cucurella (8.1)

This is Cucurella’s highest score in the past two seasons (and the first 8+).

3. Moises Caicedo (7.9)

Caicedo is getting better and better as the season goes on, which does bode well for the future.
