Arsenal Diary: What’s happening this week?message

After a week of consecutive wins in the London derby, there are still many games ahead of us in the Premier League.

Our women’s and under-18s teams will also be taking part, so here’s’s highlights over the next seven days.

on Monday

Mikel’s 100th Premier League win

Following Sunday’s thrilling 3-2 win away to Tottenham Hotspur in the north London derby, we look back at Mikel Arteta’s 100th Premier League win.

He is the fifth fastest manager in Premier League history to reach this milestone and the fastest to reach 100 league wins in our league’s history.


Vote for Player of the Month

Our men’s team won five, drew one and lost two of our eight games in April and you can vote for who you think is our best player of the month.

You can also vote for our Women’s Player of the Month, who recorded strong wins against Bristol City and Leicester City.


Kearney rides with Jurrien Timber

Jurrien Timber has performed well on his road to recovery for our Under-21s recently, but how will he fare in the Frimmy Cross Country at Colney Carpool? Find out this week!


bournemouth classic

Ahead of this weekend’s game against the Cherries, we’ll be looking back at our best games against them. A late winner comes to mind in Reiss Nelson!


Time to be determined – pre-match press conference

Mikel Arteta will look ahead to the weekend’s clash with Bournemouth at the Sobha Real Estate Training Center on Friday.

Jonas Advall will also preview the WSL’s trip to Manchester City, with both press conferences available to watch live on and the official app.


11am – Tottenham Hotspur vs Arsenal U18s

It’s north London derby time for our Under-18s this week, with Jack Wilshere’s young guns making the short trip to Tottenham Hotspur’s academy.

Chido Obimartin scored seven goals in last weekend’s 9-0 win away at Norwich City and we are confident of that.

12.30pm – Arsenal v AFC Bournemouth

The Premier League title race continues on Saturday as we return to the Emirates Stadium to take on Andoni Illaura’s Bournemouth.

Manchester City’s match against Wolves kicks off at 5.30pm and a win would see us move four points clear at the top of the league again.

We’ll be bringing you all the usual pre-match preparations on and the official app, live one hour before kick-off. Post-game coverage, including interviews, highlights and full game replays, will be released following the game.


2.15pm – Manchester City vs Arsenal Women

The penultimate game of the Barclays Women’s Super League season takes place at the City Football Academy this weekend.

Gareth Taylor’s side will be looking to strengthen their title challenge this Sunday as they currently sit six points ahead of second-placed Chelsea after playing two games more.
